DQ1912 Residential Energy Storage System Overview

The DQ1912 flat-stacked all-in-one ESS integrates inverter, MPPT solar controller, and utility charger to deliver stable power in off-grid, weak-grid, or unstable-grid areas. With fully digital intelligent design and advanced SPWM technology, it outputs pure sine wave AC suitable for appliances, tools, industrial equipment, and multimedia. The LCD provides real-time system data, and comprehensive electronic protections ensure safety and reliability.

DQ1912 ESS FAQs

The DQ1912 provides backup power during grid outages and supports black start. However, as it uses open-transition switching rather than instantaneous transfer, it cannot fully replace a UPS. For critical loads, we recommend combining UPS with the DQ1912. For backup applications, it can reduce reliance on diesel generators, lowering emissions and O&M costs.

The system uses LiFePO4 batteries with a design life of over 10 years (6000+ cycles at 80% DOD). Standard warranty is 3 years, with extended warranty available. Actual lifetime depends on depth of discharge, cycling frequency, and operating temperature.

Yes. With modular stackable design, a single unit offers 5kWh to 40kWh capacity, and parallel expansion is supported for residential, SME, and C&I applications.

The system automatically switches to battery and PV when the grid is unavailable, with no manual intervention required. Transfer time is about 10–20 ms, suitable for residential and general industrial loads. For mission-critical applications (e.g., healthcare, data centers), we recommend using it alongside UPS.

Yes. The system supports GPRS/WIFI/RS485 and integrates with mainstream EMS platforms. Users can monitor battery status, power flows, logs, alarms, and perform remote updates and O&M.

  • Battery level: Each module has independent BMS with balancing and multi-layer protection.
  • System level: Over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, short-circuit protections, plus E-stop button.
  • Fire safety: In rare thermal runaway or smoke events, alarms trigger and high-voltage circuits are isolated to prevent escalation.

The DQ1912 meets IEC/EN certification requirements and supports 230VAC 50/60Hz grids. For specific applications, a compliant isolation transformer (e.g., IEEE 1547) is recommended to ensure grounding and EMC.

The system stores events, faults, and alarms locally, while also uploading to remote monitoring platforms. Users can access historical data via LCD, local web, or cloud interfaces.
